They essentially tell you the type of product they want?
However, brick-and-mortar can be tricky. For example, if Rooms To Go, which is primarily in the Florida region, picks a group of products, we can't sell that group to another store in the same region, like Havertys.

When they choose, for example, this 30 cubic foot love chair, how far in advance do they send the order for you to allot?
For product development, I would say it's a year cycle. We start talking about the product, and the product cycle is a year, but when we start putting it into production, it's probably about six months or more for new products. That's the general lead time for new products.

Once the order is placed, you instruct the factory to start production. How long does the production process usually take?
The first production run of a new collection typically takes longer. Including transit time, the first purchase order (PO) will take about six months. The manufacturing time itself is approximately five months, with transit time adding another month or so, around 42 days. So, the first PO production will be about five months.
