The Role

This is a full-time, remote internship with a minimum commitment of 8 weeks. The preferred candidate will be available to start immediately. We will provide training and support on all our systems and furnish you with intensive desk-based research training.

• Support the development of a project brief including key search parameters
• Work with our internal analyst team to generate business and market intelligence, converting these into actionable project insights
• Strategic sourcing of executives using multi-channel sourcing tools and techniques across LinkedIn, Boolean search and external databases
• Develop and execute research strategies for complex or niche project areas
• Oversee the coordination and administration of large-scale outbound email campaigns
• Support in the preparation of executive onboarding calls
• Managing multiple projects to tight deadlines
• Provide business development support and other ad hoc projects as necessary

Minimum Requirements

• Self-motivated, organised and hard working
• Discipline to meet deadlines and goal requirements
• Experience of working well in team environments
• High proficiency in using the Microsoft Office suite
• Interest in finance, investing and capital markets
• Full English working proficiency

We're looking for a junior analyst to join our small investment team. From Day 1, the analyst will be supporting US and European fundamental hedge fund managers conducting primary research. After 6 months, analysts will evolve to interview Former senior executives and produce investment research for the In Practise library.

The Role

The Associate will focus on identifying and engaging the best industry executives to consult with hedge funds. You will be engaging directly with portfolio managers to understand their project brief, finding and speaking to senior executives, and collecting post-consultation feedback. Primary responsibilities include:

• Develop project briefs including refining research angels and key search parameters
• Work with our internal analyst team to generate market and company-specific intelligence, converting these into actionable insights
• Strategic sourcing of executives using multi-channel sourcing tools and techniques across LinkedIn, Boolean search and external databases
• Develop and execute research strategies for complex, hard-to-find executives
• Manage the administration of outbound email campaigns for expert engagement
• Lead executive screening and onboarding calls
• Manage multiple projects concurrently and work to tight deadlines

Requirements

• 3+ years post-qualification experience
• Undergraduate degree in relevant field e.g. business, economics, international relations
• Strong business communication, recruiting and negotiation skills
• Discipline to manage multiple priorities and meet tight project deadlines
• Experience of working well in remote team environments
• Interest in business, investing and capital markets
• Preference for fluency in German, Spanish, Italian or Swedish
