On average, are repairs more lengthy or labor-intensive for ICE vehicles than for EVs?
Otherwise, generally, the average EV repair might not be as lengthy since the components are more accessible without an engine blocking access. In contrast, ICE vehicles have crowded engine compartments, making it necessary to remove multiple components just to reach the one needing repair. So, for most components, ICE vehicle repairs tend to be more time-consuming than those for EVs, except for battery repairs, which are particularly lengthy for EVs.

If you compare the EV and the ICE vehicle over one, three, and five years, do you notice any difference in the frequency of servicing needed for both?
Overall, the cost of ownership in terms of maintenance will be lower for electric vehicles. However, costs may increase in areas like tire and brake wear, which tend to be higher in electric vehicles due to the heavier weight from the battery packs and the frequent use of braking systems that wear out the brakes quicker. These are the only two areas where repair costs might be more frequent.
