So these are the eight types of waste in Six Sigma, correct?
This is not related to Six Sigma. It's all about lean. You can remember these eight areas of waste with the acronym "TIM WOODS." T is for transportation, I is for inventory, M is for motion, W is for waiting, the two O's are for over-processing and over-engineering, D is for defects, and the eighth area is skills, which is wasted when you don't utilize your people's skills.
