How effective do you think a checklist process is?
We had a formal checklist, one that you could follow. We had a 40-page checklist that came from a financial advisor about 10 years ago. It's quite similar to the one Ametek would operate with. It's a fairly industry-standard checklist with 40 pages of questions or items to collect, such as accounts for the last three years, trading updates, IT systems, and various other questions. It was primarily a matter of checking off the boxes for many of these items.
