You mentioned that Medicaid could do more and that managed care could be better managed, leading to better outcomes at lower costs. How effective do you think Molina can be in achieving that? I'm curious about your view on this, both for Molina in isolation and compared to other managed care organizations.
I truly believe, and it's not because I'm biased from having worked there, that the Care Connection program effectively addresses critical issues. It helps people in both healthcare and behavioral health crises. I think it reduces costs and spending, with the MCR being significantly lower. Programs like this have a direct impact on our members, and there are two simple reasons for this, access and transportation.
