How did they think about improving those economics then?

There were many discussions about whether it was worth establishing an in-house team with 3D artists and clinical experts to create these renderings. The idea was to see if it was worth taking some business away from vendors, as we were paying a lot for that, and whether the cost justified doing it in-house. There was also exploration around finding other vendors to create a competitive situation and get better economics. This was underway before I left, but from my last discussions with industry players, it still sounds like they are heavily reliant on existing arrangements.

It's led and driven by engineers, and that's how decisions are made, unfortunately. They've tried their hand at many things and stumbled in many areas. For example, the XR team I've mentioned—I haven't seen a single product come out. I'm not sure what they do. They probably have 50 or 60 people, and you wonder what they actually do there. Years have passed, and I haven't seen a single product.
