I would love to delve into the main jurisdictions in Asia that generate the most GGR. By that, I mean the locations of the players themselves.

There are two types of GGR you need to understand. The first is cash GGR, which refers to players depositing physical or real currency money on the website. The second is crypto, or digital money, cryptocurrency. It's challenging to determine exactly how much Evolution Gaming or other operators are making from the crypto market. You also need to understand that Evolution operates in both regulated and unregulated markets. Regulated means they are partnered with operators who are operating under a jurisdiction like PAGCOR or Curaçao. However, they also have operators who are not registered with these regulators. Regulators determine revenue based on transparency from the operators. Since Evolution is not an operator but a service or game provider, they are not obligated to provide any information to the regulator, except in the European market where Evolution Gaming is registered with particular regulatory bodies.

Is that figure specific to Asia or just the Philippines?

Primarily in Asia, which largely includes the Korean market. Evolution Gaming is very popular there, despite its illegality. That's the cash market. I believe the number might be double in the crypto market.

China and the Philippines are large markets. However, Evolution Gaming isn't suitable for the Chinese market. It is suitable for the Thai market, Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam, and the Philippines, because the largest market share is in China. Unfortunately, their games aren't popular in China due to cultural reasons. For instance, the color red is considered lucky, while blue is not. This is why Asia Gaming and SA Gaming are popular in China, along with my former employer, Pragmatic Play.
