Why do you think the regulator targeted SMG in these two instances, the general marketplace and real estate?
SMG was the result of a merger, I think in 2021 or 2022. It was one of those mergers that didn't require notification because the turnover thresholds were not met. It was a joint venture, and there was a special legal situation where they didn't have to notify it. However, if it had been notified, I am pretty sure there would have been a phase two investigation because the market concentration was very high.

Why do you think the regulator targeted SMG in these two instances, the general marketplace and real estate?
It was one of the very few mergers in Switzerland, and we have a very permissive merger control. I am not sure whether the merger would have gone through. So you had the situation in the market, then SMG increased the prices, which led to complaints. These complaints came from customers, and the price range is quite political.
