Perhaps to begin with, let's go back to the early days of the international originals ramp-up when Netflix decided to allocate a higher budget towards international originals, around 2016 or 2017 when you first joined. How was that decided internally, or how did it evolve?
Club de Cuervos was, in the best way possible, a kind of rogue move. Netflix embraced that mentality, especially in the early days. If you wanted to try something and could make a case for how it could impact the business, you could do it. Erik Barmack did just that. Netflix was never about process, and even today, they are very thoughtful about what processes they implement.

The beauty of Netflix is that you might as well try because of its global footprint. These shows became available worldwide, and the question was how much to invest in dubbing them into different languages. Generally, Netflix leaned forward on that to gather a lot of data.
