How many devices did Tyson have, do you remember?
Tyson was already a client when I joined Blackline. The account was handed to me to manage. They had about 4,000 devices initially, which is relatively small now. Currently, they're hitting 7,000 to 8,000 devices. TransCanada, for instance, reached close to 9,000 devices across the U.S. and Canada.

In your customer book, what were some of the use cases? How were the end customers using the equipment across your customers?
Some of them, as I mentioned, would use it very rarely. TransCanada was an exception; they would use it in groups with a dummy device. Others would just use it for lone workers. Tyson Foods used it for lone workers, but that was connected. They work in chicken processing plants, which can be quite unpleasant. If anything happened, messages would be sent. They also had a separate set of devices that captured H2S gas because as materials ferment, they emit H2S sulfur dioxide, which is very deadly. They actually had two deaths in the past due to H2S poisoning, so they had to really focus on getting H2S detection. This represents two different scenarios; people who do work around gas and people who don't work around gas. And this is just the people who would carry the devices.

Oh, really?
When it ferments, you get emissions from the chicken. You know when things start going bad, right? H2S is one of the gases emitted by fermenting materials like guts. It smells like rotten eggs, and you might think it's just chicken guts, but it's actually very toxic. There were two deaths reported in the news due to H2S because a worker wasn't carrying a monitor and underestimated the danger, which led to him being knocked out.
