Regarding Blackline, which is more focused on lone workers, how many incidents are captured with a Blackline device, like if someone has fallen or is trapped? Are all 50 incidents related to this, or just a portion?

For lone working, we don't use the gas monitor directly. We use a separate system with an app downloaded onto devices, like mobile phones. Before starting a job, an operative activates the app, which turns on their lone worker status, and then they turn on their gas monitors. The officers use the app on their mobiles for lone working. Although there are services available with the gas monitor, we don't currently pay for them.

What about the internal app you use for lone workers? When was this developed?

This was developed approximately four or five years ago. The reason for its development was to have a separate device as a backup, rather than relying on just one device. If one device fails and an incident occurs, it could be more difficult to reach the person and provide help. With two devices running simultaneously, if one fails, the backup can be used to reach the person and provide any necessary assistance.
