The purpose is to increase processing volume. That's why you keep adding these features. I saw some YouTube videos where bar owners describe the Shift4 program. There's a fee if you subscribe, and you start with some monthly cost. These are important, but the most crucial aspect is the processing volume or perhaps a combination of both.
Yes, it's definitely about processing volume. They make their money on processing volume. That's why we started with the free terminal. Jared felt companies were confused, thinking we made money on hardware. The real money is in processing and bringing on volume. What do we need to do to attract customers?
