Amazing. A good way to start this conversation would be to understand how the competitive landscape for Sartorius is evolving. Is it evolving favorably or unfavorably? There are several ways to approach this, but perhaps you could share your perspective on how the competitive landscape is changing for Sartorius over the next five to 10 years.

We created a new automation system that is plug-and-play, enabling system integration with a bio-brain. You can plug in the ATF system to your SDR and suddenly have a concentrated fed-batch or run a perfusion process. This innovation changed the industry because competitors like Thermo Fisher only had commercial bioreactors. Sartorius changed the game by focusing on faster product development and more efficient process transfers. This led to a different discussion about adapting to life cycle needs when more product is required. Sartorius is now the unbeaten leader in upstream processes, which is crucial as upstream is the start of the process.
