Back then, Monday had $80 million in revenue, how did you know it would be a huge success?

This ideation created a super flexible software. The best analogy is Lego. You have different building blocks, whether it's the column you want to add or the view, and everything is customizable and flexible. It gives people the freedom to create their own workflows based on their needs and blueprints.

What companies do you think inspired Monday's culture? Was it similar to WIX or something else?

A fascinating example is that they believed the sales team shouldn't be compensated based on quotas and sales they close, which sounds ridiculous because that is how the industry works. They argued that you don't provide extra income for a developer because they fixed a few more bugs. They employed a lot of common sense, which allowed for a different culture.

How does Monday motivate their product staff to work at such a pace and achieve so much? There must be a lot of competition among Israeli start-ups. Are they paying more, offering a better culture, or how are they motivating their people and running things better?

Monday offers the freedom to create and build. That sense of building is deeply integrated into the culture. You get to take full ownership of a particular part of the product. It is like a start-up within a start-up.
