Is that at a store level, or when you say the brands take 48 hours to calculate, is it the store manager taking that long, or are there other layers involved?

There are many reasons for this, one being the skills of the people. Structurally, all Kering brands come from wholesale, which is a simple model: create the product, show it to the customer, the customer places an order, and then you manufacture and ship it.

At Louis Vuitton, there's no wholesale, only retail. Everything is internal, and decisions are based on sales analysis. They can change decisions along the way, unlike with wholesalers, where orders are placed and delivered six months later.
