You mentioned skepticism with exclusive OEM agreements, especially with Eurowag as an Eastern European company. Why is this a disadvantage for an Eastern European brand?

The CRT industry is quite conservative. Many companies were founded generations ago, and now the father or son runs the company. There's a lot of loyalty to whom they work with. If you only have a presence in Eastern Europe or one market, it's difficult to convince an OEM to collaborate. OEMs, from my experience, don't want multiple collaborations based on geographical coverage for selling vehicles and trucks. Trucks aren't necessarily global, but when you include anything into the vehicle's infrastructure, you talk about global platforms. OEMs prefer not to have multiple sources because the business case is too small. Their main goal is to sell vehicles.

Are you referring to CRT or all?

Yes, CRT as well. In Poland, for instance, Orlen is a big player, a state-owned company, and the leader there. In Finland, you have Neste and Teboil as local players. Each market usually has a strong local player who is number one for CRT because they have access to upstream revenues, allowing them to offer discounts downstream. They can run marketing campaigns based on upstream income and subsidize downstream revenues occasionally. Internationally, companies like UTA, DKV, Edenred, Eurowag, and E100 are significant players. Radius also focuses more on passenger car fleets. For CRT internationally, the big companies are DKV, UTA, E100, and Eurowag. In fleet management, you also find companies like WEX and Fleetcor, now Corpay, and Radius, which operate on an international basis.
