One question I have is how that culture is maintained over time. Founder-led or family businesses often sustain their culture for decades. With AMETEK, when Dave retires and a new CEO comes in, will the culture persist? It has so far. Is it in the organization's DNA? Can you elaborate on that?

It gets ingrained in you, shall we say? It's interesting to look at the group presidents. They've all been there since before I started. I've had a nice run of a decade. Except for Dalip, who is relatively new, and Emanuela Speranza, who joined a bit later. She brings a fresh perspective, not just because she's a woman, but because she has a strong marketing background. There was never anyone focused on global sales until Emanuela came in. She earned her position, starting at a lower level and then being elevated to that elite group, which is significant.
