How do you split that between gyms? Let's say if I've got a gym and I've got a member who's paying more here, but they visit another gym more often, how does the other franchisee get compensated?
If the member starts to use another gym more than their home gym, the membership will get transferred. Otherwise, it just stays. The idea is that it all evens itself out. If you overcomplicate this, it can be really challenging. It should be just a benefit for everybody because it's about an upsell. But the difficulty with a franchise model is clustering. Clustering is not the difficult part. It's being able to get the locations to cluster because as much as you have a property acquisition strategy and you want to target towns, you have to have a franchisee wanting that location. Your business model is both franchise-led and property-led, which can be a challenging balance at times.
