I want to clarify something about the motorway service stations. The sites that DCC owns and operates on UK motorways can't operate without retail, right? Who operates the retail outlets?
They actually don't operate in the UK. Applegreen pursued Welcome Break. Yes, Welcome Break. In France and Norway, they partner up. In France, they typically have 12 to 15-year franchises. You buy them from motorway companies and operate them for that period. These are competitive tenders. As of the last count, DCC had roughly 50 motorway sites. In those situations, they partner with large retail players like Elior, who run the restaurant and store, and there's an income swap between fuel and retail performance. Fuel margins are somewhat healthier in these arrangements.

What about the card business? What do you think of it?
The biggest challenge is how quickly the transition will happen from earning pence per liter to pence per kilowatt. This involves destination charging and replacing fuel cards with charge cards, which can operate similarly. The challenge going forward is determining when there will be a significant shift, especially with lighter commercial vehicles. Heavy-duty vehicles are a long way off, regardless of what Elon Musk says. But for lighter vehicles, when they start using more kilowatts than diesel or gasoline, the question is what percentage of those vehicles will be charged using a public facility.
