For my context, I don't know much about the Medicaid program in Florida. If I recall correctly, it's not an expansion state. Who are the other competitors in the state?
Centene was number one after we combined those two companies. Humana was number two, and Simply, which is an Elevance company, is number three. After that, Molina was in the state, but they lost the last bid. I think they're operating in just one region now. Moving forward with the new contract, United lost significant membership in the last bid. The last RFP was in 2023, and all the plans were negotiating in 2024. The new award started on February 1st. Everything is quite scrambled. Centene ultimately was the primary winner along with Humana and Simply.
