Because of scheduling. Do you understand what I mean by that? Scheduling involves sending out 150 trucks with 15 stops each, totaling 2,000 deliveries in a day. A fulfillment center deals with inbounding, storing, and picking freight, which is a continuous process. HDO, on the other hand, handles scheduling and loading, involving many additional steps managed by another team. It's straightforward to transition from a fulfillment center to HDO, but there are complexities involved.
