The other core module is clinical documentation or data collection. What makes ABA unique from other specialty EMRs is the quantified information collected. For example, if I'm teaching a learner to wash their hands, they might do it four times in two hours, with each washing having seven steps. You track each step, noting whether they did it independently, needed prompting, or required help. This data is collected at a detailed level and used to track progress over time, showing how independently they perform tasks.
