Can you discuss the PAR selection process? I'm not asking for any insider information, of course. If we get close to that, feel free to push back. I want to understand how the process started. What technology were you moving from? What was the process and the criteria? How did that work?

When RBI acquired Popeyes in 2017, they had 44 different point of sale systems, which was insane. They got standardized onto two systems; SICOM and NCR - the version that we were being used in other brands.

Over the years, we identified how detrimental it was to have different systems. To conduct market tests, launch a product, or manage any operational metric, like setting up third-party delivery or testing a new product, the SKUs and architecture were different. For example, in NCR, a large Coke has a unique code, 1234. In SCICOM, we have large drinks, medium drinks, and small drinks, with a modifier for the flavor.
