Imagine this scenario. Oracle cannot have access to your data without your permission. This is a barrier; you have the keys. But imagine Oracle has all the transactional data for a hospital. So if you run their GL and their HR, you have all that transactional information, supply chain information, financial information, everything. It sits in Oracle's database. Oracle has Cerner and Oracle Clinical. So they've got huge amounts of this data.

For instance, if you visit a hospital like the Cleveland Clinic and your orders and results are entered into Cerner, they might detect that you have a foodborne illness. As more people come to the hospital with a foodborne illness, Oracle can analyze that population data using AI to identify trends. In healthcare, this allows for a model that spots trends effectively. Oracle Clinical focuses on clinical trials of medications, and by cross-referencing these databases, you can discover interesting results regarding which medications are effective for certain illnesses.
