How have you made those decisions historically? What are instances where it is worth doing that migration versus where it is not?

It still comes back to that same decisioning process on the front end with the business. What are your goals and what are your aspirations? Then, sitting with the business and IT peers and colleagues, start making decisions around whether this might be the time that we should buy versus build. The number one decision many times from both a technology and business standpoint is who is the system integrator, because most tier one companies don't know Guidewire or Duck Creek in the details.

If you were to compare your own buy and build decisions in the last five years to the 2000 to 2005 period, how would you say that has changed significantly?

When I say significantly, you could put a percentage on it - it is two-thirds to one-third at least. Before that, it was probably flipped the other way, where two-thirds was build, one-third was buy. Go back 30 years, it was probably more 80-20, build versus buy. It is really happening a lot. Keep in mind why it is happening.
