I think 20% of the stores are still unprofitable now.
I'm not sure about the current numbers, but we had the same issue when I started. There are several reasons behind this. One of them is the location we chose. We can't always predict the competition from local players, like lesser-known brands or local pizza stores that have been operating for 20 years.

What share does pizza have in the food or takeaway market? How do you measure it?
The last figures I recall indicate that pizza has about a 35% market share compared to other takeaways, placing it firmly in first place. Kebabs, which are quite popular in Poland and easy to deliver, come in second. Sushi deliveries hold the third place, although they are popular for different reasons, primarily economic ones. Sushi isn't as readily available, so pizza consistently comes out on top.
